The most fundamental questions nowadays are how do we, as a forward-thinking agency, stay relevant in an age of unlimited data, complex networks and Globalisation. This can be better phrased as ‘How might we future-proof our agency?’
As a distributed company we no longer think of ourselves as a classic company, but more as a marketplace for opportunities, that together provide services that an Agency would build in the classic model. We think of ourselves more as a community of experts rather than a company with a structure.
As a solution to future challenges and an outline for a type of agency, a project was created called Agency 3.0. This is a vision of how this future agency will exist. It will be established on the foundations of transparency, distributed ownership, autonomous organization, and blockchain. Blockchain will provide Agency 3.0 with a Toolbox for building organizations. Further, blockchain will assist in providing the basic building blocks that we will use to construct the agency of the future.
