Concise Software at the Dublin Tech Summit. This is what we did in the capital of Ireland

At Concise Software, we understand the importance of networking and the need to participate in all sorts of industry events. One of the most interesting events on the calendar is certainly the Dublin Tech Summit, which brings together representatives of IT companies from all over the world. It is a great opportunity to meet inspiring people.

During the two-days of the Dublin Tech Summit (10-11 April 2019), we’ve met a lot of inspirational IT experts. Among the stars of the event were: John Romero of Romero Games, the future Mars astronaut Alyssa Carlson, Douglas Terrier the CTO of NASA and many many more. It was great to be able to participate in the Dublin Tech Summit with these people.

Dublin Tech Summit has grown in recent years to be one of the most important and fastest growing technology conferences in Europe. The scale of the event is still much smaller than in the case of the Mobile World Congress or IFA in Berlin, however, our observations show that it is a very valuable event. It’s simply worth being at if you are serious about IT business.

Who attended the Dublin Tech Summit?

The Dublin Tech Summit boasted around 10,000 participants from over 70 countries. 300 journalists made sure that the whole IT industry would hear about DTS19. The main focus of the event is sharing knowledge and experience, as well as discussing the latest trends in the technology industry. Numerous meetings are a great value for companies like Concise Software – we participated in this very important part of the Dublin Tech Summit.

This year’s conference provided the participants, thanks to high-profile personalities from the IT industry, with an incredible dose of useful knowledge. The most important topics discussed by the speakers were: the role of artificial intelligence in new technologies and new legal regulations relating to user data protection (GDPR). Moreover, there was a discussion about the impact of the new legislation on the security of websites and services embedded on the Internet.

Unfortunately, the short duration of the Dublin Tech Summit forced the organizers to significantly condensate their lectures. A lot of discussion panels took place at the same time and participants had to choose between them. In such an arrangement, it’s easy to miss on an exciting discussion on important issues.

However, we are extremely pleased with our participation in the Dublin Tech Summit and we will definitely be there next year! We expect to have fun (and work!) there next year, at least as much as we did it this time.
